Dwight Howard Leaves the Laker Nation!

The Los Angeles Lakers are known to stir up lots of conversation on and off season! The Lakers didn't snag the NBA Championship this year again, and got a lot of heat from their rather disappointing season, not to mention Kobe Bryant's torn Achilles Tendon injury.

Last season Dwight Howard joined the Laker franchise from the Orlando Magic with high hopes to having a successful career with them. As the season approached a closing, there were many talks as to rather Howard would stay with the Lakers or leave. This week it was confirmed that D12 is no longer enlisted and a Laker and is now a free agent. He denied to sign for another year and $30 million with the Lakers.

Friday, sports news reported that Dwight Howard is going to sign a four-year deal with the Houston Rockets, and a confirmation from Howard himself on Twitter, "I've decided to become a member of the Houston Rockets. I feel its the best place for me and I am excited about joining the Rockets and I'm looking forward to a great season. I want to thank the fans in Los Angeles and wish them the best." I guess the Howard-Bryant duo didn't turn out to be as great as everyone expected them to be.

Reports say the contract Howard will be signing Wednesday with the Rockets is for $88million! Howard's decision had social media going crazy of course, as the Laker nation had much to say about Howard's move. Former Laker, Shaquile O'Neal had a mouthful to say about the "Superman's" move, "It was expected. We've all been in LA, and not a whole lot of people can handle being under the bright lights. Everybody wants to do it, but when you get there, there are certain pressures. I think it was a safe move for him to go to a little town like Houston. That's right, little town. I said it."
Ok Shaq!

In other Laker news, Kobe announced that he should begin the 2013-2014 season sometime in November or December. Ouch! I know Laker fans are hurting! Is this the idoneous beginning for Dwight Howard?
