Last week, BET President of music programming and BET Specials Stephen Hill announced that Keshia Chante has been hired for position of the new host of 106 and Park. Keshia Chante is a R&B singer from Canada. If you've been watching, Keshia had been filling in for Angela Simmons during the summer. Angela Simmons was brought on as the host for the summer, taking the place of the three former host Pagion, Shorty Da Prince, and Miss Mykie after they were released from the show. Angela made her announcement that she would no longer be co-hosting along side Bow Wow.
Last week while rapper Drake was on the show promoting his new album, he had an opportunity to reconnect with his old boo and support her as she announced on the show that she is the new host.
Current host Bow Wow posted on Instagram yesterday, that he has signed on for another 2 years as 106 and Park's host and may possibly be on there longer. Mr. 106 has really been enjoying his job hosting the show. After a few months of speculation about who's the official host are, it is official that it is Keshia Chante and Bow Wow.
