One of the biggest nights in television is shy of one month away! The BET Awards has highlighted black talent in mainstream entertainment for the past 14 years, getting more exciting each year. Within the past year, many artist have broken into the business with chart topping singles, hot videos, and a strong fan base, as well as artist who are no new faces to our radio & televisions. BET will award many artist, athletes, actors, philanthropist, and legends during the 2014 BET Awards on June 29th, live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angles, California.
In the past BET has had some of the best host including, Monique, Will & Jada Smith, Steve Harvey & Cedric The Entertainer, and Kevin Hart to name a few. The past host have always brought their own creativity and uniqueness to help make the Awards one of the highest rating shows during it's airing. This year bringing lots of craziness and laughs is comedian Chris Rock.
Topping this year's nominations is August Alsina, Beyoncé, Drake, and Pharrell! BET is also honoring Lionel Richie for this year's "Lifetime Achievement Award." Check out the nominees for the 20 categories below:
