Well, it's not exactly her first job, but the first daughter is taking steps towards her dream. Malia Obama, the 15-year-old daughter of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, spent one day, as a production assistant with Halle Berry's new show on CBS, "Extant." Malia who is aspiring filmmaker, according to President Obama, spent the day with the best of Hollywood.
The new series is executively produced by Steven Spielberg, and Malia was able to help computer shop alignments and even got a chance to get behind the camera. Even though Malia was an assistant for the day, she made a great impact. She was even reported laughing with delight saying, "My first time. It's a big deal."
"Extant" is an upcoming sci-fi series that will air on CBS. It is revolving around astronaut Molly Woods (Halle Berry), and her return from a year in space unexplainably pregnant. The series premiere is scheduled for July 9, 2014 and there will be 13 episodes in the first season.
We're excited and happy for Malia and maybe very soon we'll see her name with "Director" beside it.
