Lil Kim Says Nicki Minaj Is An "Identity Theif" + Disses Nicki On Flawless Remix

Lil Kim is not stopping until she no longer feels as if Nicki Minaj is a threat to her anymore. Sad part about it, it's too late! In the recent years of Nicki Minaj's success, Lil Kim has not once let off her back and allow her to regin as Hip-Hop's new Queen B. Is Nicki really trying to jack Lil Kim swag though? In Lil Kim's new track "Identity Theft," it seems as if she is.

There is no question that Lil Kim was a trendsetter of a new age of female rappers in Hip-Hop in the 1990's but like all great things, it must end. It's like MJ and Kobe, MJ will always be the greatest, but the only person he says can come close to him is Kobe, so why can't Lil Kim do the same thing? Lil Kim felt the need to kill a good thing, when she created her own remix to Beyonce's "Flawless" remix that featured Nicki Minaj earlier this week.

Many fans believe that Lil Kim is in fact deminishing her legacy by continuously attacking Nicki Minaj. In all honestly, the more Lil Kim comes at Nicki the more Nicki wins. While Lil Kim is taking care of her newborn baby girl and trying to preserve her rap career, Nicki Minaj is laughing all the way to the  bank and closing more endorsement deals. She also is soon to drop a new album The PinkPrint and has hopped on everyone's song this summer, killing her verses.

I've never been much of a Nicki Minaj fan, but I give respect where its due. She's hot. She created an image with a gimmick that worked for her, now she can relax off of the extra and do her thing lyrically. Should Nicki Minaj show respect to the ones that gave her a platform? Absolutely. It's no secret that a lot of Nicki Minaj's image and inspiration for her rap style and cover art choices have been inspired by Lil Kim, that's obvious. The real question is, should Nicki respond or continue to sip her tea with Kermit the Frog?

Maybe Remy Ma will do a track with her since they seem to have more in common. Listen to Kim's new diss single "Identity Theft" below. If you haven't heard her version of "Flawless" listen to that below as well. Is she taking it too far?
