Since the child's birth, George and Rajic have been in a not so nice custody and child support battle over their child. Both parents have fought to have sole custody of their daughter, and as of today have reached an agreement to negotiate joint custody of Olivia George.
George was slammed earlier this year for being a deadbeat dad to his child, but after his horrific injury to his leg just a few months ago, it appears he's decided to put everything aside and be there for his child. Daniela Rajic is still fighting for a nice penny for child support and claimed that Paul had never seen his baby girl before.
Today Paul took to his Instagram to show off his daughter for the first time stating "In love and blessed!!! My baby girl!"
Although the paternity test taken earlier this year did confirm that Paul was the father of Olivia, Paul is required to take a legal paternity test by the court to confirm the results. After his court hearing today in Manhattan, New York, Paul George may have met his daughter for the first time since she's been born.
“I’m extremely excited at the prospect of holding 5-month-old Olivia for the first time Thursday afternoon. I am expecting to take full responsibility and to own up to being the dad,” the Indiana Pacers small forward said after the hearing."
Unfortunately events like these happen too often with high profile ballers and the same type of women. When will these rappers and athletes learn?? Seriously! We hope PG can come to a feasible settlement and be active in his daughter's life. Since he is expected to miss the entire 2014-2015 NBA season with the Indiana Pacers, he should make ample amount of time to spend with his daughter.
