Kendrick Lamar Premieres New Untitled Track On 'The Colbert Report'

Kendrick Lamar_Untitled
Kendrick Lamar is all about staying true to himself while making statements through his music. Although he isn't your typical gangster rapper from Compton, Kendrick Lamar has been claimed to be the new leader of the West Coast as he freely moves under the mentor-ship of the legendary Dr. Dre.  Last night Kendrick made an appearance on Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" as their last musical guest of the year cracking a few jokes and premiering his new title-less track. The title-less track is a great mediation of Jazz meets Hip-Hop

Kendrick Lamar appears to be recreating his sound, appearance and message with his upcoming sophomore album. His empowerment song "i" received a Grammy nomination for Best Hip-Hop Song. In terms of his performance last night on "The Colbert Report," there is no explanation needed. Similar to his friend J. Cole's David Letterman performance last week, Kendrick's untitled song has a great message lying within the lyrics. He ends his performance chanting  "Tell em we don't die, we multiply."
