If you haven't gotten yourself well antiquated with J. Cole's Dreamville label, 2015 will be the year to so. Following the release of J. Cole's 2013 sophomore album Born Sinner, he laid back from the music scene and allow his artist Bas and Cozz be introduced to the world. Although Cole is from North Carolina, he hasn't let that limit him to the artist in which he's added to the Dreamville family. Los Angeles native Cozz who also goes by Cody Mac, made sure 2014 didn't end without every major Hip-Hop outlet knowing he's next in line.
Cozz released his first major project this fall off of Dreamville and Interscope Records Cozz and Effect, a very solid Hip-Hop peice of work. The 20 year old MC doesn't come off as your typical west coast gangster rapper, but from his rhymes he's still legit. Cozz has released the newest visual from his Cozz and Effect album, "I'm The Man" which takes place right in the heart of a South Central, LA neighborhood. View the video below:
