On August 30th, 2014, Miami Heat's player, Dwayne Wade, and actress, Gabrielle Union, tied the knot in an extravagant wedding ceremony in Miami, that totaled out to cost $5 million! The ceremony included close friends and family, a Dennis Basso, hand-made designed dress for the bride to wear, a 1930's themed juke joint for guests, and a performance by John Legend. Almost six months later, new are coming out that the couple are actually not officially married!
We all have seen the photos and posts about the couple's beautiful and lavish wedding ceremony, but according to Miami-Dade County Records, there is no record of the couple's marriage license on file. Files show that the couple obtained the marriage license before the ceremony, but have yet to turn it in. The license is stated to be missing a signature from the officiator of the ceremony, who happened to be actress, Essence Atkins. According to Florida state laws, the marriage license must be returned within 10 days to make it official.
Without that license being recorded, some problems may come about in the future. With that being said, what is the delay to turn the license in?
