Omarion, Chris
Brown, and Jhené Aiko teamed up together to
make the official video for hit single "Post To Be", which is a
single from Omarion's fourth studio album, Sex
Playlist. Omarion's Sex Playlist sits
as #49 on the Billboard 200 and "Post To Be" holds the
number 80 on Billboard Hot 100.
Omarion, Chris, and Jhené opened up the video doing a synchronized head nod to the beat while standing together dressed down in urban apparel. The three artists used an all-white back drop for the video, which featured cameos from a Ferrari, women being covered in gold, and objects being covered with paint. Being dancers at heart, Omarion and Chris both incorporated dance moves during their parts such as the famous moon walk. Jhené's infamous line in the song "But he got to eat the booty like groceries" was also featured in the video. Many people have sung along to that line, but really didn't understand what it meant.
In an interview with Complex magazine, Jhené explained that she was "Just playing with the rhyme scheme. The line of 'Post to be' reminded me of the Kevin Gates Vines where he's talking about booty. I sat down with Micah Powell, who is a writer I've worked with for a long time. I sat down with him, and I was like, 'Whatever we say, I really want to say something about eating the booty.; He keeps saying in the Vines-'You 'posed to eat the booty.' Either way, the song is catchy and fun to jam out to!
