[WATCH] The Return of the Kanye Rant: "The Grammys Needs To Know We Not Playing No More"

Less than 24 hours after the biggest night in music, Kanye West seems to be the one everyone is talking about. Are you surprised? Kanye West is not really known to be in an environment where all attention is not on him. Last night was the first time in six years artist hit the Grammy stage with a solo performance as well as accompanying Rihanna with Paul McCartney. The man who smiles without smiling, surely is a rebellious soul who is extremely passionate about those he believes in and what he believes in. The Grammy academy and the world of viewers was sadly mistaken if they thought Mr. West would have been on his best behavior the entire night considering his past views of the awards. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards quickly turned into the Kanye West Show for a brief moment after he almost crashed an award winner's acceptance speech.


In 2009, Kanye West abruptly interrupted Taylor Swift's MTV VMAs acceptance speech on live television because he believed Beyonce had the best video of that year. Last night the world witnessed Kanye West just a few steps away and a chance to the microphone to interrupt Beck as he accepted the award for "Album of the Year." Social media immediately jumped on the awkward scene joking "Kanye was about to pull a Kanye." Is it safe to say Kanye West is apart of the Beyhive?

West caught himself in the action and saved his thoughts until after the show. He and his wife Kim Kardashian stopped by the E! Red Carpet After Party where he freely expressed what was on his mind. In short, Kanye West is tired of great, creative artist getting snubbed from the Grammy's. He seriously said he thought Beck should have given Beyonce his Grammy because she deserved it. The idea of an artist giving another artist their Grammy they worked so hard on earning is a bit questionable but arguably Ye's thoughts on Grammy snubbing is justified. Kanye West has been very vocal in past about not winning or being nominated for Grammy Awards, so his rant came as no surprise to many.

The rest of his rant was just Kanye being Kanye; genius meets obnoxious with some added comedy. By now Kanye has rubbed a lot of people wrong, so let's hope the Grammy's invites him back next year, since he will be releasing an album this year. This was a side of him we haven't seen in a while, but if his goal was to take the award for best meme of the week, he won! Was this a moment people appreciated him for speaking out for or wish he kept his mouth closed?

On a positive note, we learned he executive produced Rihanna's upcoming album. This week he will be in New York promoting his new Adidas Yeezy 750 Boot that was spotted on his foot this weekend in LA.
