It wasn't long ago rumors of the couple began circulating the web before the two confirmed rumors by attending an event at the White House together. No one really knows how or why exactly Future and the father of her 1-year old son didn't work out, but at this point, people are just happy she found a seemingly better fit.

As one of Hip-Hop's hottest acts currently, Future's rap career and introduction to high fashion kicked up a few notches when the couple first got together a few years ago.
Ciara's had her fair share of failed public relationships, but hopefully this one will be different. Although Russell Wilson is a pro-athlete which she's dated before, he's a very different type of guy than what we've seen her with in the past. One thing that stands out about him most, he's a open proud Christian man. From the looks of things from recent photos, he appears ready to take on the role of a step-dad as well.
Russell Wilson hasn't had the best luck in the past with love either. Last year he finalized his divorce with his ex-wife Ashton Meem of two years. Wilson sat down for a Q&A with The Rock Church's Miles McPherson in San Diego, where he spoke on his life, past experiences, relationship with his family, the death of his father, career, being saved and more. Since his romantic relationship is a hot topic now, it was no surprise his new girlfriend was brought up. Something wonderful about a man that puts God first in his life especially, his relationship. About 20 minutes into the Q&A, Russell Wilson opened up about his calling to "lead" his new girlfriend Ciara into a relationship without sex before marriage.
"I met this girl named Ciara, who is the most beautiful woman in the world... She's everything I ever wanted...For me, I knew that God had brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me and to bless so many people with the impact that she has, that I have...He has anointed both of us and I know that he's calling for us to do something miraculous and something special. I told her and she totally agreed could we love each other without that? "
Think what you want, but this is one of the best things we've heard in pop news all year. In a society that is heavily driven by sex, its a breath of fresh air to hear a man (a pro athlete at that) to admit that he chooses to withhold from sex until he finds his wife. In a time period where couples don't make it to falling in love, let alone making true love, because they've had sex first and eventually break up. If you're one to have sexual partners with no strings attached, by all means do you. Practicing abstinence is a thing of the past and is much as a taboo as being a virgin is in today's time. For Russell to say the words he did knowing the world would see, not only shows he has plans for long love with Ciara, but he also respects her body.

If you're a Christian believer, the Bible states God created man and woman to be fruitful and multiply after the two become one flesh. People were created to be sexual beings, how else do you think we got here? Each person is entitled to being in-tuned with their sexuality and having total sexual liberation if that's what you chose. A woman's body belongs to a man as a man's body belongs to a woman's after they have become husband and wife. Recreational sex (sex for pleasure) is technically only allowed within a marriage to prevent things such a pregnancy, soul ties, adultery, confusion, feelings of emptiness, etc. Not to get all religious on those who don't get religious in the bedroom! Since the discussion is around a Christian topic its just a reminder that there are reasons things were created in certain ways even if it isn't revealed to us until later in life.
As Russell Wilson admitted in his interview, no one expects you to be perfect and no living person will ever be perfect. He even asked for people to pray for him as he embarks on this challenge because he knows how difficult it will be for them both, especially if its a lifestyle they aren't used to living. Sex being one of the most common acts that has become normalized and acceptable, now at very young ages, people must understand that laying down with someone is more than just a short time of pleasurable intimacy. Sex without caution can result in a lifetime of consequences.

They're always exceptions to the rule, remember everyone wasn't created to be an exception.
