Lauryn Hill, A$AP Rocky, Wale, Janelle Monae and More Headline ONE Musicfest

The 6th annual ONE Musicfest made its grand return September 12th in Atlanta at Aaron's Amphitheater for a day full of great music and performances. Rocking out two festival stages this year included Lauryn Hill, A$AP Rocky, The Roots, Wale, Janelle Monae & Wondaland, Raekwon & Ghostface, SZA and many more. ONE Musicfest aims to unify various artist and people from all walks of life, styles, regions and generations through music.
This year's attendees were in for a special treat for some of the best artist from the past two decades. Headliner Ms. Lauryn Hill grace the stage with her full band as she effortlessly performed a modern mix of her hit singles from her Grammy award-winning album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and popular cuts from former Fugees group. The songstress opened her set energized yet mellow, seated surrounded by her band and candles while playing the guitar. Well into her set, Ms. Hill ditched the seat and candles to rock out, tapping into her Hip-Hop side.

Lauryn Hill's set was a fusion of soul, funk, Hip-Hop and R&B. Proclaimed as one of Hip-Hop/Soul's queen, it was obvious she is a real perfectionist! She ensured everything was right from the sound to each note sang and played. For over an hour, Lauryn sang the audience into a gaze and left it all on the stage as ONE Musicfest goers left in total  awe.

Each ONE Musicfest performer brought their own uniqueness to the stage. From old school Hip-Hop acts such as The Roots, Ghostface, Raekwon and Bun B to new acts such as Wale, A$AP Rocky and Raury. To R&B with Ryan Leslie and SZA to funk with Janelle Monae and Wondaland to everything in between, ONE Musicfest opened its doors to a diverse audience to vibe out and have nothing less than a fun time.

Founded by Jason Carter in 2010, ONE Musicfest has become one of the largest southeastern festivals. With its growing impact on Atlanta's culture and economics, ONE Musicfest has officially been declared as "ONE Musicfest Day" in Atlanta on September 12th!
"There is a lack of representation for soul, progressive hip-hop, alternative and rock, represented under one roof, in the format of music festivals in Atlanta. We have noticed that while there are many pockets of individuals that share taste in the same music, rarely do you see them share in this together. ONE Musicfest was created with the idea of 'music as the universal language'. Over time we aim to grow this fest into a phenomenon and bring together different sectors of individuals through a unique music platform."
