Justin Bieber, the Canadian kid entertainer who took the
world by storm at the mere age of 15 with his hit“Baby.” The song was
first discovered on YouTube by talent manager, Scooter Braun. After meeting
with Usher Raymond in Atlanta, Georgia Bieber was signed to Raymond Braun Media
Group (RBMG) first, then later to Island Records with recording executive, L.A.
Reid.
Since then Bieber has went double platinum in other countries and platinum in the United States in 2009 with the release of his EP, My World. Consequently, he became the first artist to have seven songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100. His fame and fan base, dubbed as “Beliebers”, only grew when he released several other albums including “Believe” making this the fourth number one album with top ten hits for “Boyfriend”, “As Long As You Love Me” (featuring Big Sean), and “Beauty and a Beat” (Featuring Nicki Minaj).
Many believe his success can only get better with time. So far Bieber has proven himself. At the tender age of 21, Bieber has released his newest album “Purpose” on November 13, 2015. His fans are truly believers, helping to make 10 songs from Bieber’s new album alone, the top 10 of the real-time Billboard as well as top 10 on the trending 140 chart (a chart which measures the acceleration of conversation around artist and their music). Although, his success is one to talk about, there are some people who still believe Bieber’s new album will only reach fans that are mid-adolescent. Are you a believer in the success of Justin Bieber’s newest album or do you believe his album is for the young?
