St. Beauty Premiere's "Going Nowhere" Video

Isis and Alex, the two beautiful voices behind the group St. Beauty. The duo was introduced to the world this year through Janelle Monae 's Wondaland label and is featured on the compilation project Wondaland Presents: The Eephus.  St. Beauty is ready to take the world by storm with their unique touch on music with a message and obsession with vintage clothing. The ladies hosted a viewing event in Atlanta recently to premiere the video for their single featured on the Wondaland compliation, "Going Nowhere." The event housed a collection of St. Beauty fans and friends, industry personnel and their Wondaland family.

"Going Nowhere was inspired by the Chinese Red String of Fate theory. A string that ties two people together. No matter what happens in life they'll still be on each side of it. You have that one person that you're like 'we're always gonna be together, you're not going nowhere.' Its kinda like a subconscious thing. We wanted to have a video to embody that. You'll see the red string, there's couples. We just wanted to show forever love, a continuation of love. We had the vintage feel with the Volkswagen van. The video is just our interpretation of what it felt like to be in love back then"  St. Beauty told us during a sitdown. (Fun fact: they found the van on Craigslist).

St. Beauty has been busy in the studio recording for an upcoming project TBA. The group toured this year with Janelle Monae and the Wondaland family that includes Jidenna, Roman Gianarthur and Deep Cotton. Watch "Going Nowhere" below:
