A Look Into The NFL Playoffs And The Most Talked About Game

Eight teams currently stand in the NFL Playoffs, competing for a spot at Super Bowl 50. The Wildcard round jump started the playoffs January 9th. AFC teams Chiefs, Texans, Bengals and Steelers went head to head down to the last seconds for some pretty memorable games Saturday. Sunday, the NFC's Packers, Redskins, Seahawks and Vikings stiffened the competition, making this week's game that more interesting to watch.

Canceling their opponents last weekend the Seattle, Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Kansas City advance to the divisional round. Saturday, January 16th the playoffs will resume at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts at 4:35pm as the New England Patriots take on the Kansas City Chiefs. At 8:15pm EST the Arizona Cardinals will host the Green Bay Packers in Arizona. Sunday, #1 seed of the NFC Carolina Panthers will host the Seattle Seahawks in Charlotte at 1:05pm inside the Bank of America Stadium. The Steelers will match the #1 seed of the AFC, the Denver Broncos at 4:40pm.

The NFL's big game talk of the week is the matchup between the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks. Finishing the regular season 15-1, the Panthers have achieved the unthinkable this year in franchise history. This is the third year in a row the team has entered the playoffs, hoping to finally make it all the way to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks finished the regular season 11-6, attempting to make their way back Super Bowl to succeed last year's lost in the final minutes. In 2013, the Panthers and Seahawks played one another in the divisional round, Seahawks coming on top. This weekend the two teams will meet again for the same game. Unlike last year, both teams and their quarterbacks Cam Newton and Russell Wilson are more precise, stronger, faster and aggressive.

Winners of each divisional game this week will advance to the Conference Championship Sunday, January 24th beginning at 3:05pm. The winners of the Conference Championship will have the opportunity of playing in Super Bowl 50 February 7th in Santa Clara, California. With everything on the line, theses teams will bring their all in hopes of being the last team standing. Who are you routing for??
