It's been fun to watch Big Sean's "glo-up." Emerging as a young emcee from Detroit signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music to now finally famous, Big Sean is one of Hip-Hop's top artists. Although Sean seems to have been an overnight success, his journey as a signed artist has spanned over the last decade.
Big Sean's career hit a peak in 2015 with the release of his album Dark Sky Paradise, with #1 platinum single leading its way "IDFWU." The success of other singles from Dark Sky Paradise "Blessings," and "Play No Games," carried Sean's hype into the release of his 4th LP I Decided.
I Decided's 1st single "Bounce Back"is certified double platinum, in addition to the album hitting #1 on the Billboard 200 in its first week. Between Sean's last two albums his brand as the rapper promoting positivity, love, dreaming big, overcoming obstacles and his philanthropic work has taken his career to new heights.
Six years since his debut album Finally Famous, Big Sean is gaining the notoriety he once fought for. While his quest for respect and silencing the haters continues, the artist has earned himself a seat at the table with Hip-Hop greats such as Jay-Z, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne.
Now an award winning, artists under Roc Nation's umbrella the possibilities are endless for Sean Don. If he's not killing festival stages, or performing on national television, you can find him on tour. He served as the headliner for his album titled-"I Decided Tour" with MadeInTyo. He performed to a sold out crowd at the Tabernacle in Atlanta before fans, family and industry friends before closing out his spring tour.
