The summer is always the best time to hit the movies. Plenty of action, fun, and laughs. With July just kicking off yesterday, save your movie bucks because the summer movies are just getting started. Check out which movies came in the top 5 at the box office this weekend.
#1 Monsters University
This movies for the entire family, mainly the kiddies ranked in #1 again this weekend, bringing in $46million this weekend.

Sandra Bullock and the hilarious Melissa McCarthy ranked in #2 this weekend with $39million.

#4 White House Down
I wasn't expecting this movie to come in #4 this weekend. Definitely a box office disappointment for this highly anticipated film. I actually had the chance to catch this movie this weekend, and I enjoyed it. Lot's of action from Jamie and Channing. The two ranked in $24million.

The Superman saga "Man of Steel" dropped two spots from last weekend, still coming in the top 5 in the box office bringing in $20million this weekend.
The summer is just getting started with movies with Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain, Despicable Me 2, and Lone Ranger in theaters tomorrow! Also later on this month expect to see Grown Ups 2, Turbo, Red 2, and The Wolverine just to name a few!
