OJ Simpson is in the news, again, Luckily for him this time he didn't do anything wrong. Back in 2008, OJ was convicted of kidnapping, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and other charges in Nevada, for a dispute he had with a man over items he said was stolen from him in a Las Vegas hotel.
Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison with the possibility of parole, but only after he completed nine years of his sentence.Simpson is seeking to get a new trail in hopes that he soon can be a free man again. The 66-year old former football player has been on lock down for almost five years. He will remain in prison for now and may have to serve at least four more years. Simpson told a parole panel last week, that he is a different person, and displays good behavior in prison. He was granted parole on some charges, but not others. Let's see if OJ can get off again this time.
