On May 6th, long time missing person Amanda Berry was rescued from the home of Ariel Castro along with two other women who had been held in captivity since the early 2000's. Amanda who is now 27, had been missing since 2002 and says that she and the other two women had been brutally beaten and raped by Castro. Amanda has built up the courage to go out in public and live her life now as a normal person, while the other two woman have not yet.
Last week she attended a Nelly concert in Cleveland where he bought her onstage during his performance of "Just a Dream," and gave her some encouraging words, thanking her for her strength. Kudos to you Nelly! Amanda seems to be in a good place now. Each of the three women released thank you videos, thanking those for their support, stating that they are happy to be home and getting stronger everyday.
