Colin Kaepernick Cover's GQ Magazine

Just when you thought NFL Player Colin Kaepernick couldn't get any sexier after stripping down to his tats for the ESPN Body Issue, he's back again bearing skin for the September issue of GQ Magazine. Colin flaunted his Kool-Aid smile and perfect body for the issue. Around this time, GQ usually lends it's cover in light of football season to some of NFL's hottest players. After the losing the Superbowl earlier this year, Colin immediately began working and training to ensure himself and his team that they won't have a repeat of last year. His efforts to win, but falling short didn't go all bad, it's landed him multiple magazine covers and his first ESPY Award.

Colin Kaepernick emerged as a major threat on the field last season as he took the position to become the San Fransisco 49er's starter quarterback. He can throw a football 60 miles per hour and is quick on his feet. He is one of the newer quarterbacks in the league who plays unlike the traditional quarterback, one who doesn't stay in the pocket, whose willing to run the ball and make plays.

As Kaepernick led his team to victories, and making his touchdown move "Kaepernicking" popular (where he kisses his tattoos), controversy began to rise over the players appearance. It did not help that his race was a speculation, which only made those question his tattoos and appearance even harder. Let's face it here, with a man that looks like him, who cares if he has a lot's of tattoos, he shows up and does his job well which is all that matters. He's a hard worker who takes loses very personal and only wants to be seen as the best athlete, not for his tattoos, race or anything else that doesn't have to do with him on the field. Colin Kapernick has expressed over and over the importance of teamwork and what his team means to him in being successful on the field.

Kaepernick shared with GQ about his teammates:
"You know what I love most about this game? You know what I miss the most when I'm away from it? Being around my teammates. That's it! Growing up, when I dreamed about playing in the NFL, it was never about being famous, never about the roar of the crowd. It was about other players, because there is no other sport where you rely on your teammates so much. The fact that you can go out there and trust ten other people without even looking at them, that's amazing. That you can build that type of trust and have that type of confidence where you can throw a ball without seeing where a receiver's at, and just trust he's gonna be there and make a play. You have to have that trust because it's a physical sport where people get hurt. There's that much more at stake. I love trusting my well-being to those ten other people. And I love the trust those ten people put in me to lead them, to figure out what they need in order to make them as good as they can be.
Good luck to the 49er's this season. Also you can check out RGIII on an alternate cover of Septembers issue.
