Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had a moving performance of "Same Love" with Madonna, Queen Latifah, Mary Lambert, and Trombone Shorty. The "royal couple" Jay Z and Beyoncé opened the show performing "Drunk in Love."
Aside from all of the performances the Grammy's highlighted excellence in music over the past year. The big winners of the night were Daft Punk, Pharrell, Lorde, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
