[WATCH] August Alsina's New Video 'FML'

August is known to keep it real and is probably one of the more graphic R&B artist out today. His new single, FML describes how life is not at all "like a beach." The song first caught attention when August posted a picture of him hanging from a noose on Instagram with the caption, "Rest in peace Aug. Forever missed #holdyoudownforlife." Many of his fans scrutinized the singer for the controversial picture, some assuming he actually completed suicide, little did they know it was a form of promotion for his newest video.

The song features Good Music rapper Pusha T. Both artists have completed suicide, and at the crime scene the two souls come back only to realization that they are indeed dead. The video shows August going back and forth with himself in a mirror while contemplating his decision.

Listen closely to lyrics while watching the sullen August sings, and if you don't understand the meaning for this video, Rap Genius has a break down of the lyrics.

As mentioned before, August will be performing this Sunday at the 2014 BET Awards. He is nominated for 4 awards and will be going on tour in August. (Cute, right?)

What do you think about the music video, too graphic? Or not enough? Leave your comments below!
