You ever really wondered why so many men on the scenes don't "trust these hoes?" Me too! We know that the majority of the time songs are inspired by real life situations, so much of what we hear comes from a real place whether it's good or bad. If you've ever had a conversation with me about music, men, relationships current day, you know I usually have my own rationale about the particular subject. Since FARRINHEIT 411 gives you the 411 on the hottest in entertainment, I thought it's be cool to give you the real 411 behind some of the hottest songs out right now! To begin, let's break down "Loyal" by Chris Brown. I want to hear your opinions so please leave a comment below!!
When I first heard "Loyal" I wasn't the biggest fan of the song. The strong woman in me, was like "ugh another song about dudes disrespecting women and putting a catchy beat to it." While that may be true, I have had a slight change of heart. After getting massive radio play over the past few months and being on the scene in different cities, I have had a chance to thoroughly digest the song from different perspectives. By no means am I in any support of this movement of making all women out to be the bad guys, but let's have some fun with the song with a scenario.
Chris says "When a rich n*gga want you, and your n*gga can't do nothing for you..." it makes sense. Think about it, some women have an agenda when it comes to men. You get with a guy because he's fly; fresh J's, dope fitted, the latest fashionable clothes, and he's kinda cute. He seems like he might have something going for himself but if he doesn't it's ok because he talks a good game. You give him a shot, but he's not exactly what you're looking for. He might be a way in so you stick with him.
You're out with some of your girls and you come across a guy with status (and money) like Chris Brown, your "bae" all of a sudden means nothing. Let a guy like Chris talk the same game, have similar style to your bae, maybe he's rocking Giuseppe Zanotti's instead of Jordans. It's a good chance he might not look as good as bae (if he does you hit the jackpot), you wouldn't think twice before accepting his invitation to VIP or hanging out with him and his boys for the night. These hoes ain't loyal.
When some females are trying to be on the come up, they will do anything to ensure that happens. If that means smashing the ballers, getting good with the entourage, being in music videos, get a waitress job, strip, getting Instagram famous, the list goes on and on. I've seen females do everything from step their wardrobe up to flex in something they really can't afford, to getting a long weave, lashes, eyebrows, body enhancements, etc. If a woman has a specific man she's after believe me, she will be at every event he attends in town (or the surrounding areas), make friends with his crew, play nice to his mother, security, chef, kids all that.
Wayne says "Why give a b*tch your heart when she'd rather have a purse..." Let's think about this. She has an agenda. She wants the "fancy" life. The bags, the walks down the red carpet, VIP access to exclusive events, stays in the Beverly Hills mansion, blog exposure, a spot on a popular reality TV show, high end fashion (crop top tank with the matching skirt and the heals with the one strap across the toes) and celebrity friends. This is some women's agenda real life. Once she maps out her agenda, gives herself a time frame, does all the preparations, picks her guy(s), she's on the move.
She meets her guy. Men being the men they are these days seem to only like groupies and thots, whom they try and wife them. Men with money like to show women (typically with a lower economic status as them) this grand fast pace life. Often times in the process, they catch feelings. While you're getting your cake and eating it too, you think you got the game on lock. Unfortunately you fell for her. She likes you but she likes your lifestyle better. She likes your homie too! You wanna wife her? Move her in the crib, smash, let her travel with you everywhere, smash, give her the car, the keys, smash, VIP sections, bottles, weed, smash, vacations, pose for the blogs, stunt on other dudes, and just give her all the luxuries ! She's in heaven, you're in heaven. Life is great.
She's cool with living your lifestyle, you enjoying having a baddie on your arm, you're both winning. Meanwhile you think you're really feeling her and you were all apart of her agenda. As you provided, she checked each thing off her bucket list. You wake up one day and realize, she's a couple 100,000 Instagram followers and another baller away from used to being your girl. These hoes ain't loyal.
