Young Money artist Drake and Lil Wayne have been shutting down city to city with their "Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour." The tour hit one of the rappers' favorite cities Atlanta, turning the Aaron's Amphitheater at Lakewood upside down. "Drake vs. Lil Wayne" is definitely one of the hottest concerts of the summer, combining two of Hip-Hop's biggest entertainers on one stage.
Performing all of their greatest hits one after the other, Drake and Lil Wayne put up a hard fight for the win of the night. Through the unique Drake vs. Lil Wayne app, concert goers are able to vote before the show who will perform first and who will win the show that night. Lil Wayne won the first battle of the night being selected to hit the stage first. The unique set up of the show allowed for each act to perform for a set time before swapping to the next act.

The two performed for almost three hours with high energy from start to finish with no intermissions. OVO Sound artist Party Next Door opened the show, performing an half and hour set before the main attractions. OVO Sound's newest signee Atlanta artist iLove Maakonnen made a special appearance performing his hit single "Tuesday" for the home crowd. Weezy & Drizzy wanted to keep the momentum high in Atlanta bringing out native 2 Chainz. The crowd couldn't decide who had the biggest hits or best features so the ending result of the competition was a draw. Currently Lil Wayne is head of Drake with more wins thus far.
The fun filled event included a dance battle to Chris Brown's "Loyal" (see video below), a lot of weed smoking, and an overall party atmosphere. Drake recently announced his new album Views From the 6, set to release sometime next year, while Lil Wayne announced at the show his album Tha Carter V will be available to the world October 28, 2014.
