Marshawn Lynch, one of the NFL's best running backs but one of its most difficult athletes to get to do interviews with. After being fined several times since being in the league for refusing to speak to the press, Marshawn now does interviews but don't expect too much out him. Media outlets that choose to speak with him now probably do it just to see what will come out of his mouth. His interviews admittedly are a bit of comedy.
Marshawn is not the only player in the league that refuses to speak to the media but thanks to social media, his interviews have become the subject for memes, Insta videos and the butt of everyone's joke. This past Saturday, the press caught up with him after his team Seattle Seahawks defeat the Carolina Panthers in the divisional round of the playoffs. He answered a series of questions with "I'm Thankful" which immediately went viral. Marshawn Lynch is determined to make his own rules within the confound of his job. He may also suffer from a bit of anxiety from public speaking which is understandable but shouldn't someone be helping him out with that? Possibly.
