Odell Beckham Jr. Sets Guinness World Record for Most One-Hand Catches

Odell Beckham Jr. made a lot of noise in the sports world this season, becoming the rookie who everyone had their eye on. The 22-year old New York Giants receiver may not have made it to the playoffs this year, but who said history still couldn't be made? During an ESPN Super Bowl set Beckham with the help of New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees set a Guinness World Record for the most one-hand catches in one minute.

The 49th Super Bowl is held in Phoniex, Arizona this year with a ton of events surrounding the big game. ESPN's televised Super Bowl event this week recreated a Visa commercial which aired this football season, including three NFL quarterbacks and one wide receiver. To break the record, Beckham and Brees had to have 10 successful catches in a one-minute span. Not only did Odell Beckham break the record catching 33 balls with one hand, he also caught them consecutively with ease. His rookie season is one to put behind him now as he plans to focus to better himself, but its no denying the young athlete has a very bright future ahead of him.Watch the video of him breaking the world record below:
