Christopher Bridges aka
Ludacris has had an interesting start of the New Year. Ludacris married
longtime girlfriend, Eudoxie Mbouguiengue and has now won primary
custody of 1-year old daughter, Cai Bridges. After a short yet messy court
custody battle, with his child's mother Tamika Fuller, the rapper/actor now
holds physical custody of his child. The court apperance that began as Fuller's
intent to gain more child support money from Luda, ended with her losing
custody of her child. Whoaa!
Ludacris and Tamika Fuller were old high school friends that
happened to reconnect when the rapper was on "break" with his now
wife Eudoxie. Throughout the trial, Tamika Fuller made some allegations stating
that Ludacris’s speedy marriage to Eudoxie was an act to show the judge that he
was the more, fit parent to raise Cai and that he bribed her $10,000 to abort
the baby…Shocker! The allegations did not obviously help Tamika’s case since
Ludacris won primary custody. What went wrong? According to MadameNoire.com,
“shaky finances and questionable parenting of [Tamika Fuller’s first child]
were a big issue for presiding Judge Dorothy Downs”. The court’s
decision allows Tamike Fuller to see Cai for 11 days out of the month. What's
interesting in this case is if Fuller's accusations against Ludacris are true,
how was he able to obtain primary physical custody of a child he didn't originally want? Unfortunately, this happens often with custody battles when
the man is the one with the money. There is no doubt that Ludacris isn't a good father, but there are questions to this story.
What
is your response to the court's decision? Was it the right or wrong choice?
