"Vengeance hits home", but also a lot of emotions and big numbers did too! April 3rd, 2015 was a day the world has been waiting for.

On November 30th, 2013, the world lost a great friend, son, brother, father, humanitarian, and actor all in one amazing individual, Paul Walker. Following a charity event for his non-profit organization, Reach Out Worldwide, which purpose is to fulfill the unmet need of bridging the gap between the "availability of skilled resources and the requirement for such personnel in post-disaster situations", Paul Walker and friend, Roger Rodas, took a ride in Rodas's 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, which resulted in a fatal, single-car collision.  Before Paul Walker's untimely death, he was in the process of filming for the newly released addition to the 'Fast and Furious' franchise.  After the fatal collision, production was put on halt as the world found a way to deal with a great loss.  Universal decided to continue on finishing 'Furious 7', which made many people question if the movie should be finished without Paul Walker and how would they complete the movie in entirety with the scenes he played in before November 30th.

On April 3rd, the previous questions and then some were answered and the end result was a beautiful execution. The team added Paul's family into every aspect of the film, including features from his brothers, in order to complete the legacy he started in 2003. The cast and crew were very supportive of each other as they found a way to complete the film without their late brother. The action-packed film included the cars, the fighting scenes, and the chemistry between each other, but it also included a moving and powerful tribute dedicated to Paul Walker (for those of you who haven't seen the film, the following photo is a spoiler alert):

In less than a week since the film premiered on April 3rd, 'Furious 7' went into full drive pass the $500 million mark in box offices worldwide! Recently, Universal Pictures International has reached the $1 billion mark in foreign ticket sales. The film's soundtrack, which includes hit-single "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa, reached No. 2 on Billboard's 200. 'Furious 7' is known as the fourth biggest global debut of all time and is on it's way to reaching a $1 billion milestone world-wide.

It looks like an eighth addition may be in the works, but without Paul Walker, is it still considered a 'Fast and Furious' franchise?

"I used to say I live my life a quarter mile at a time and I think that's why we were brothers - because you did too. No matter where you are, whether it's a quarter mile away or half way across the world. The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room, right here, right now. Salute mi familia. You'll always be with me. And you'll always be my brother."- Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel)
