One of R&B's sultriest vocalists, Frank Ocean, has resurfaced from underground and plans to release his highly anticipated, new album in July.
Frank Ocean started out in the music business by collaborating with producers and contributing his song writing skills to the songs of the likes such as Justin Bieber and Beyonce, to name a few. Following that, he started working with one of hip-hop's prominent collectives, Odd Future. He later met "Tricky" Stewart, who helped him land a contract with Def Jam as a solo artist and the rest is history. The road of his own musical success came with the February 2011 release of nostalgia, ULTRA. Shortly right after, Frank Ocean released his second album 'channel Orange'. Both albums received universal critical acclaim and placed his music on the top of charts and earned him a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
Frank has since then went underground to work on the new, upcoming album that fans have been waiting for! Molly Kawachi, Frank Ocean's publicist, confirmed the release month of the new album, which is yet to be titled and a publication, which is titled "Boys Don't Cry". The confirmation from Ocean's publicist followed the posting of a photo on Ocean's official website.
I wouldn't be surprised if Frank decided to release his album at an earlier date just like some other artists we know *sips tea*....
