Drake Continues To Reign Social Media With "Hotline Bling" Video

Without a doubt, 2015 has been Drake's year. He began the year with his releasing his now platinum surprise mixtape If You're Reading This Its Too Late, participated in a huge Sprite campaign, inked a major Apple deal, performed at several worldwide festivals, dropped a duo-album with Future and even got caught in a rap beef, there seemed to be no stopping Drake this year. Drake is planning to top off his more than eventful year with his fourth studio album Views From The 6 to officially walk away with owning 2015.

Aiming to earn his first Billboard Top 100 #1, Drizzy released the visuals for his fall hit "Hotline Bling." At this point in his career, Drake is fully conscious of what the world thinks of him and well, he know uses it to his advantage. While this may not have been your favorite Drake video, you must admit you immediately knew social media would love it! Within minutes of the video releasing, memes and GIFs of Drake's awkwardly funny dancing immediately became the topic of social media for an entire day. From the cha-cha, salsa, dab and moves we don't know to the interesting outfit choices, Drake knew exactly what he was doing creating this video. Hashtag #DrakeAlwaysOnBeat and several variations of the video have been created since its release early this week.

In the process of "Hotline Bling" making its way to #2 on the Billboard charts, artist D.R.A.M creator of the summer hit "Cha Cha" isn't too pleased that the song very similar to his is receiving such success without proper credit. Drake's moves on the music industry in 2015 have become a monopoly.
