Invited guest Hart, Cube and the CNF surprised Harding High School with a visit. The two helped Cam deliver a $7,500 check to the school's athletic department in efforts to revamp their weight room. While goofing off in the weight room, Kevin was challenged to bench press 225 pounds which seemed to be a lot to handle for a man of his size, but the comedian refused to step down from the challenge. Like a champ, Kev pressed the 225 with almost no trouble causing an uproar of laughter and excitement in the room.
Year round, the Cam Newton Foundation finds great ways to give to communities within the Charlotte, Auburn and Atlanta areas with emphasis on large giving during the holidays. This year Newton embarked his annual Surprise Sleigh Day in Charlotte where he made four stops throughout the city, delivering great gifts with his foundation volunteers. Some of the other stops of the day included the Roaring Riot Holiday Party, shopping spree with children at Dick's Sporting Goods and visiting Metro School. Although Newton isn't from Charlotte, the current undefeated Panther has embraced the Queen City as his home and is doing great things for the city!
Fun fact: Cam's dabbing Santa sweater was created by fellow Atlanta native 2 Chainz, whose proceeds go toward supporting families in need this holiday season. 2 Chaniz has done remarkable things for families already such as paying rent for one full year and purchasing vehicles. Kevin Hart's "Say It With Your Chest" ugly sweatshirt uses its proceeds to help children's dreams come true through the Make A Wish Foundation.
