Future and Mike Will Made It are proving talking less and doing more is sometimes the best move to make. Their "Winter Wishland" charity event was held in Atlanta, GA December 20th at Bessie Branham Park. Future's Free Wishes Foundation and Mike Will's Making Wishes Matter Foundation joined forces once again to create a special holiday memory, this time for the children of the Kirkwood-Zone 6 community. The Winter Wishland event gifted tons of children in need of new coats, gloves and hats.
The Christmas Extravaganza had plenty of help from community, foundation, family and friend volunteers to make it all possible. Not only were the children provided new winter coats, they also received toys, a chance to win a brand new bike and headphones. The kiddies enjoyed performances from arising Atlanta superstars, photobooth fun, talks with Santa, snacks, face painting and lots of dancing.
Last month the Free Wishes and Making Wishes Matter Foundations collaborated on "An Evening To Remember" honoring Atlanta's senior citizens. Both Future and Mike Will make sure their presence was felt more than just providing material gifts to families. Each make it appoint to snap as many pictures as possible, shake a few hands and give a few hugs. Free Wishes and Making Wishes Matter are headed by the mothers and foundation organizers of Future and Mike Will Made It.
Future and Mike Will are an intricate part of each other's now success. Beginning with mixtapes only heard in Atlanta to worldwide plays, they're still humble and determined to make bigger impacts with their crafts. Future is capping off 2015 with the biggest year of his career thus far. Dropping two hit mixtapes, an album and a joint project with Drake, he takes the MVP artist of the year. Mike Will is closing 2015 strong with his label Ear Drummer Records. His artist Rae Sremmurd experienced a huge year of new found fame, chart topping singles and an successful album.
Congratulations to these two on their continuous success and thank you for using your influence behind the scenes in a positive way. These kids need it!
