Over the last four weeks J. Cole has hooked his fans up with the insights to putting together a major tour. The small four part "J. Cole: Road To Homecoming" docu-series follows the life of an artist over what ended as one of the most successful years of his career. From rehearsals, creative team collaboration to production crew, Cole has used his Forest Hills Drive journey over the last year to introduce the public to the behind the scenes no one gets to see.
The episodes are leading up to a grand finale special "J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming" set in Fayetteville, NC August 2015. The concert special will air on HBO January 9th at 10pm. The prelude episodes will no longer be available through HBO on Demand or online after the special's premiere Saturday night. You won't be able to view them again unless you purchase the DVD forthcoming. In case you missed the Homecoming show last year, we were there to document that monumental day play by play (must read here). We had a chance to view the HBO special and let's just say, you'll be watching the birth of a legend. Congrats to the good people at Dreamville for creating history!
