Omarion Wishes Fans Would Let His B2K Image Go

Lets take a moment to realize that B2K (Boys of the New Millennium) made their debut on the scene 13 years ago. The sensational boy group broke the US pop charts in the late 2001 with the hit single 'Uh-huh', B2K had the hearts of many teenage girls. Lead Vocalist Omarion "Omari Ishmeal Grandberry" led the group debut album to #2 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs album chart. After numerous #1 Hits such as Bump, Bump, Bump which was #1 on the Billboards Hot 100. The year 2004, B2K made their way to the big screen with You Got Served and its was #1 in the box office and grossed $16 million during the first week. After the hit movie released, manager Chris Stokes announced the group's split. He claimed internal differences within the group that caused the group to break up. Leaving many broken hearts, Omarion went on with his solo career creating three solo albums.

After the "LudaDay Weekend Annual Celebrity Basketball Game" concluded, the premiere of the 90 minute documentary ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta’s Rise in the Rap Game began at the Rialto Center for the Arts. As a new intern at FARRINHEIT 411, it was quite a thrill and an honor to cover my first event. At the beginning of the star-studded premiere, the evening began with food and the red carpet. The delicious light refreshments included spinach dip filled cucumbers, mini cupcakes, ‘Luda Mix’ popcorn, and wide array of beverages. As the event progressed, the likes of Ludacris, Letoya Luckett, DJ Toomb, Larenz Tate, Dice, and many other notable people graced the red carpet for the film's premiere.

Last night the film Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story broke ratings. It now has the title of the most watched original film in network history, and for many great reasons. Audiences all over were in awe of how cast members portrayed this multi-platinum award winning group, with performances by Keke Palmer as Rozanda "Chili" Thomas, Drew Sidora Tione "T-Boz" Watkins, and Natia "Lil mama" Kirkland as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, nailing their roles made it all the more easier to watch.

TLC CrazySexyCool Viewing Party Atlanta

Last week, VH1 aired the highly anticipated TLC biopic, CrazySexyCool. The CrazySexyCool premiere was the highest rated cable movie this year, with 4.5 million viewers Monday night. It came as no surprise, since TLC is still to date one of the most successful female groups. The group just released their new album 20 last week as well.
