You thought Jagged Edge was no more? Of course not! The group has been touring together doing shows and rejoined with the entire So So Def family last year for the huge So So Def 20th Anniversay concert in Atlanta. Jagged Edge has also been secretly putting together a new album which they announced today is coming soon. Jagged Edge will make a part 2 to their classic first album J.E. Heartbreak, titling the new project J.E Heartbreak Too coming this fall. On May 30th, the group will drop their first single "Hope" dedicated to single mothers on Vibe.com.
Brandon, Brian, Wingo, and Kyle are teaming up with their faithful writers and producers Bryan Michael Cox and Jermaine Dupri to add their expertise that gave them tremendous success with the release of their first album in 2000. Under So So Def Recordings, Hard Case Records, and BMG Primary Wave Artists Services, the R&B group's eighth album will be released. The original J.E Heartbreak included tracks such as "Promise," "Let's Get Married," and "He Can't Love You." The album sold over 2 million copies and made Jagged Edge on of the best male R&B groups to come out of the 2000's.
I'm ready for some new music from the group, are you?
