The notorious Chris Brown has been freed from jail! This morning, Chris Brown was released from a Los Angeles, CA jail after spending about 59 days locked down. According to an Los Angeles deputy, Breezy was released from jail at 12:01 this morning.
Brown was arrested in March after being kicked out of rehab for violating the facility's rules. While appearing in court, Brown admitted that he also violated his probation (from the Rihanna incident) with an altercation he had with a man last October during Howard University's homecoming weekend in Washington, DC. Before that, Chris Brown tried to lay low from his past incidents, but since 2009, trouble has seemed to follow Chris Brown everywhere he goes.
In risk of facing jail time last year, Chris checked himself in a rehabilitation center where he was getting help with substance abuse, anger management, and what the public later learned a bi-polar disorder. Although rehab was a way for Chris to show he was making an effort to correct his behavior he was still required to complete 1,000 hours of community service. As of February, he had already completed 800 of those hours.
The judge sentenced Chris Brown to 131 additional days in jail on top of what he was already serving, warning Chris there would a chance he could be released earlier. Totaling the time he spent in rehab, plus the time he already spent in jail, along with good behavior, has allowed Chris Brown to be let back into society. There is no word yet on the status of his freedom and if he still has any pending cases against him, but for now we know he's free.
Chris Brown has achieved great success with his music and acting career. His fifth studio album X was supposed to drop last year, but was pushed back, then Chris got into more trouble so it did not happen. Last we heard from CB himself, he said that X was still going to be released. His song "Loyal" has hit #1 on the charts and has received over a 70 million views on Vevo. Chris Brown was also shown lots of love by many of the acts that performed at Hot 97's Summer Jam concert last night such as Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Sevyn Streeter, and Kid Ink.
Today he went to Twitter to announce he's back. See his tweets below:

His girlfriend Karrueche Tran also took to social media to announce her boo's freedom. Her photo collage is comparing her & Chris' love to Beatles member John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono, oh.
Here's my take: I love Chris Brown as an artist. Seeing this man perform in person and listening to his music since Chris Brown, it's no denying that he is extremely gifted. Over the last five years we've watched Chris Brown experience his highs and lows. He's matured, then he does something stupid and childish; we reject him, then take him back. It's time for him to get himself together, fully! Having a mental disorder is nothing to play with and living the life he lives does not make dealing with it any easier. He also does not need to play into blaming his actions on his disorder either.
Chris truly needs people around him that will not nurture his ego and help him develop him into a man, because it doesn't seem as if he's a bad guy. He's made extremely poor choices and gets away with way more than what he's supposed to so yes, enough is enough. He needs to cut out the drugs and liquor, the dead beat friends, rebuild himself and his team. He also needs to seek counseling multiple times a week, take whatever medicines he needs, and get himself back into shape (mentally and physically). I would advise him to lay low from social media too. The media has crucified Chris Brown over the years which has played a major role in his behavior, but he has to find a way to deal with it in a healthy way. It's a tough business and the media takes anyone as a prisoner!
I wish Chris Brown the best, I hope this is his last time getting in trouble but we will see as the future approaches. For now, let's focus on the music and those awesome performances!
