One year ago, a "youngin" with a Hip-Hop swag and R&B voice debuted his first album, creating a huge fan-base worldwide and made dreams realities. Many artist will always hold the release of their first album's close to their heart but August Alsina holds his especially close. The anniversary of his first album is a bittersweet day for him. The success & joy of his first album shares the same day of the pain he grieves on the birthday of his late older brother Melvin. The album "Testimony" bares Alsina's soul growing up in the rough sections of New Orleans and Houston as well as loosing the closest to him his older brother.

The wise always say watch what you do because your past always comes back to haunt you, even when you've moved on. It's no surprise by now that Chris Brown's actions have gotten in much of the way of his success and no matter how hard he tries to move on, it seems like he can't. Since getting in major trouble with the law in 2009 over the Rihanna incident, Breezy has had trouble keeping his nose clean. He was released from jail summer 2014 after spending months for violating his probation and getting in an altercation in DC. He's recently opened up about trying to get himself together and move past all of his legal woes so he can get back to touring and being a great performer. Sadly for him, its not that easy.

Trey Songz got in the holiday spirit a little early this year, participating in "30 Acts of Kindness" with his Angel Foundation, counting down to his 30th birthday. Trey will be performing "All I Want For Christmas" at Disney's Frozen Christmas, December 25th on ABC.

Her debut album executive produced by R. Kelly went double platinum, setting the young Detroit star up for success in the music industry. Lifetime Network with the help of executive producer Wendy Williams delivered fans with what they've been asking for, but may have delivered one of the biggest disappointments.

This weekend, August Alsina's "Testimony Live Tour" hit ATL, a special place for the New Orleans native. Taking place at the Tabernacle in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the "Testimony Live Tour" was the place to be Saturday night. Interestingly, the show took place on the eve of the Atlanta Falcon's vs. New Orleans Saints 2014-2015 NFL season opener, so there were many Saints fans in town. During the show, the Falcons/Saints rivalry was silenced, as fans were in agreeance to be there for one reason...to see August Alsina.

George has created a strong buzz surrounding his single "March" which has received heavy air play this year on R&B stations around the country. His album The Foundation brings a breath of fresh air to the music scene, channeling a variety of sounds and emotions to make a solid body of work.

Mila J Announces Date For EP M.I.L.A.

You may not know exactly who Mila J is yet, but you will very soon. Although Mila J is a name that many are still trying to get familiar with, she is no new chick to the music/entertainment industry. Mary J. Blige 'What's The 411' Turns 22!

Today marks 22 years since Mary J. Blige claimed her throne as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. Her debut album What's The 411? was released July 28, 1992. The album was released under Uptown Records where Andre Harrell served as the CEO at the time. Mary worked with new producer then and longtime friend now Puff Daddy on her debut album.

After the track was originally supposed to drop the 14th and never did, August and Nicki fans harassed the two artist until they did. The pressure for August to release the song today even caused a clash on social media between August and Nicki fans.
