The Friday Night Lights mixtape was the second of three J. Cole's basketball themed covers. Still to date fans declare Friday Night Lights to be their favorite body of work from the artist. Cole still performs songs that makes the crowd go wild like "Blow Up" and "In the Morning." In celebration of five years since establishing himself as one of the best artist of his time, J. Cole announced his 3rd annual 'Dollar & A Dream Tour.'
The newly platinum selling artist has been touring since early spring of this year on his 3-act '2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour.' Taking a short break from his main tour, he plans to stop in four cities to treat fans for a nearly free concert in a much more intimate space with his Dreamville team. Opening for Mr. Cole are his three signed artist on Dreamville Records who you can also see on his '2014 FHD Tour.' Bas, Omen and Cozz.
J. Cole continues to display his humility, true compassion, and motivation to the people that have supported him over five years. Per usual, the 'Dollar & A Dream Tour' only cost $1 to get in where entrance is granted on a first come, first served basis. J. Cole will be performing his 2010 Friday Night Lights from top to bottom and be sure he will throw in a few surprises for the fans. Venues for the tour stops will be revealed on the day of the show. If you're looking to attend the show, I suggest turning on tweet notifications for @JColeNC, @Dreamville and @KingOfQueenz. Check the flyer below to see if he's coming to a city near you!
Last year we broke down four reasons why the 'Dollar & A Dream Tour' was the best of the summer. If you're interested in going, we suggest reading why making that move would be a good choice here.
