St. Beauty Fires With Back-To-Back Releases "Borders" and "Holographic Lover"

Shy of a year, we met duo St. Beauty for the release of their opening single "Going Nowhere." Their single along with their unique sound and style attracted a diverse audience, creating a fan base to their growing buzz. Upon recieving exposure as Janelle Monae's newest signees to her Wondaland imprint, St. Beauty flew under the radar to prepare for follow ups for "Going Nowhere." Most of 2016 the group remained lowkey, but has resurfaced and is fresher than before with double releases "Borders" and "Holographic Lover."

Combing Alex Belle's euphoric vocals and Isis Valentino's soft toned vocals adding her bass/guitar playing, St. Beauty creates smooth sonic tracks and beautiful daunting harmonies. "Borders" and "Holographic Lover" both explore varying styles of St. Beauty's talent described as "a feeling, a sound, captured and bought to life." Both singles received a worthy platform for their release, airing on episode 5 and 6 of Issa Rae's hit HBO series Insecure. True black girl magic!

Be on the lookout for music forthcoming from the vintage-wearing, curly haired ladies of St. Beauty. "Borders" and "Holographic Lover" are available for streaming on all music platforms.
