Odell Beckham Jr. made a lot of noise in the sports world this season, becoming the rookie who everyone had their eye on. The 22-year old New York Giants receiver may not have made it to the playoffs this year, but who said history still couldn't be made? During an ESPN Super Bowl set Beckham with the help of New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees set a Guinness World Record for the most one-hand catches in one minute.

"Man look, y'all really wanna know who did it?...Man Dale Earnhardt Jr. dawg...forreal Dale Earnhardt Jr. man, thank you dawg....from me to you, you my n*gga forreal..." Remember this line from J. Cole's "Note to Self" song? His joke about knowing NASCAR driver  Dale Earnhardt Jr. landed him the cover of ESPN's Music Issue with the fellow Carolinian. Pretty cool right?"

There's a very small chance you've ever watched ESPN or any major sporting event and has not seen or heard Stuart Scott. Known best as the host of ESPN's "SportsCenter," Scott was truly a trial blazer in his field. Coming into mainstream sports broadcasting in the early 90's, Scott Stuart not only created diversity on television but brought a more entertaining way to get your sports recaps.

Earlier this year Paul George made headlines when word hit that he had gotten a stripper pregnant. Last August rumors began spreading that a woman he had been having "relations" with was pregnant and he even offered her $1 million to abort the child. Since then, it's been a whirlwind of events between George and his then alleged "baby mama" Daniela Rajic. After denying that the child was his for months, 24-year old Paul George gave into taking a paternity test proving he was the father of baby girl  Olivia.

The media is often quick to jump on stories that usually have nothing to do with nothing! While those stories make headline news and good table talk, it's stories like these that often go unheard of, or aren't publicized enough. I came across a picture about a month ago with a story attached about a six year old boy named George Gring who met his favorite athlete Cam Newton. It instantly put a smile on my face.

Last year Roc Nation added another division to it's growing empire, Roc Nation Sports managing athletes and helping to excel their careers on and off the field. Roc Nation Sports announced last week they've added a new client to the list, NFL wide receiver Hakeem Nicks.
